What we collect
- Account info you give us — name, email, password (hashed), and optional profile fields (organization, role, WhatsApp, preferred sectors, directory opt-in).
- Activity data — articles you view, bookmark, follow, search for, and AI chat queries (tied to your account so the product works).
- Anonymous browsing — page views and source via Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. Aggregated only.
- Server logs — IP, user-agent, request path, status code. Kept for ~14 days for security and debugging.
What we don't collect
- Third-party advertising trackers — none.
- Social media pixels — none.
- Sensitive personal data we don't need (we'll never ask for ID, financial details, etc., unless you're paying us).
How we use it
- To run the service: deliver articles, briefings, alerts.
- To personalize your feed and topic recommendations.
- To send transactional emails (digest, alerts, security notices).
- To improve the product (in aggregate, never tied to individuals).
Who we share with
- Supabase — hosts our database and authentication. Subject to Supabase's privacy policy.
- Anthropic — Claude is used for article translation, summarization, and entity extraction in our ingestion pipeline. We don't train models on your content.
- Resend — email delivery.
- Hetzner / Cloudflare — hosting and CDN. Standard server-log retention.
We don't sell your data. Ever.
Your rights
You can: download a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account (and all associated data) at any time. Email [email protected] and we'll act within 30 days.
Cookies
We use one cookie (the Supabase auth-session cookie, HttpOnly + Secure) and a couple of small browser-storage values for language and theme preferences. No third-party advertising cookies. No tracking cookies. That's why we don't need a cookie banner.
Where this applies
Built and operated from Dili, Timor-Leste, by Onit Enterprises. We try to comply with GDPR-equivalent rights for all users regardless of where you are.
