What we provide
Timor Monitor ("TMM") is a media intelligence service that aggregates publicly available news from Timor-Leste media sources. We display short summaries and metadata; the original articles remain the property of their publishers and are linked back via the in-page reader.
Your account
- You're responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.
- You're responsible for keeping your password secure.
- Don't share an Individual account across multiple people; institutional plans support team access through work domains and invite links.
- We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or attempt to scrape content systematically.
Acceptable use
- Don't republish full article text from third-party sources via TMM — links and summaries only.
- Don't use the service to harass, defame, or violate Timor-Leste law.
- Don't use automated tools to circumvent rate limits or paid tiers.
Pricing and cancellation
New accounts receive a 14-day trial unless another arrangement applies. Paid access is sold on annual plans in US dollars. Paid subscriptions are currently invoiced and paid by bank transfer; cancellation applies from the next renewal date unless the written quote says otherwise. Refunds are at our discretion. No warranty
TMM's automated translations and summaries can contain errors. Don't rely on them for high-stakes decisions without verification. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Timor Monitor and its operators are not liable for indirect losses, missed opportunities, or decisions made solely from automated translations, summaries, alerts, or third-party source material.
Governing terms
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Timor-Leste. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute promptly and in good faith.
Changes to these terms
We'll update this page when terms change and email accountholders for material changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
